I'm recognizing it today because I don't make it onto Oppo much on the weekends.
While I had been a FPer and occasional Oppo lurker for a while, a year ago tomorrow I got my license to post via !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! with the help of !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! .
In my !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! I shared the fake Monroney I had put together to announce that my wife and I were expecting our first child.

The year that has passed since then has been a wild ride. I've got a happy, healthy, nearly one-year-old boy at home now. Experiencing parenthood for the first time has been nothing short of amazing and terrifying at the same time. Luckily, Oppo has been there to balance the crazy or the monotony, depending on the day.
I never cease to be amazed at the depth and breadth of knowledge that this place contains and the wonderful, quirky, insane people that inhabit it.
Here's to the next year, Oppo!

Awesome. I'm sure you'll raise that gearhead-in-training right. =)
I love this place as much as you do, and actually just added my Oppoversary to my calendar - ha! This year, it just happens to coincide with a weekend backroadtrip with friends to NW Arkansas. Seems appropriate.

Thanks $kay, I'm honored that you'd give me a stolen cake instead of selling it on Craigslist. ;)

I found a high res image of a real one on Google and then used it as an example to build a copy from scratch in Adobe InDesign. I even made the bar codes from scratch by grouping together lines of varying width.
Took me a couple hours.
